David and his family moved to Roseburg, Oregon, in 1948, resided for a short time in Burien, Washington, and then settled down on Hollywood Hill in Woodinville in November of 1951. David went from being a Bothell Cougar (Class of 1961) to being a UW Husky (Class of 1967) with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

In 1978, 1979, and 1980, he assisted in the construction of Chiang Kai-Shek International Airport in Taipei, Taiwan, designing and installing fire-control systems and reader-board signs.

His 36-year Boeing career was overlapped by his 30-plus-year avocation as a youth-softball and youth-soccer coach and he was president of the Northshore Youth Soccer Association for 13 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Washington Cathedral at 12300 Redmond-Woodinville Road NE in Redmond on December 15th at 1:30.
